Help Samina start the school year with the right tools
Samina won a place at Rawalpindi Boys' High School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in the first year of senior school at Rawalpindi Boys' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $100, which is more than we have.
I love biology and want to become a nurse. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $100 goes:
• Textbooks and workbooks: $15
• Laptop: $70
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $15
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Samina.
Sure. The biggest one is textbooks and workbooks, $15. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Appreciate you taking the time.
Hope things get better soon, Samina. Looking forward to the next update. I have a 6 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Thinking of Rawalpindi.
Sending love. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it
Take care, Samina. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
Sending strength. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
