Help Samantha pay for ACL reconstruction at Newcastle General Hospital
A scheduled ACL reconstruction in October is out of reach without help covering $3,800 of the cost.

Samantha was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in June. The surgeon at Newcastle General Hospital recommended ACL reconstruction, and She is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $5,000, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $3,800 short.
my sister has been in and out of Newcastle General Hospital since June. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without ACL reconstruction. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $5,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Samantha struggles with daily life and can't walk without help. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 7 weeks. During that time Samantha won't be able to walk without help, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $3,800 goes:
• Travel and lodging for the family: $260
• Post-operative medication: $340
• Hospital stay (3 nights): $2,650
• Physiotherapy sessions: $550
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Sending good thoughts. This could happen to any of us. It's not much but it's yours. Love from Nashik.
Sending strength. This could happen to any of us. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Saket
hope the doctors have good news. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Jacksonville!
