Help Samantha keep the the Sunday Shelf pantry stocked
The the Sunday Shelf pantry in Swansea is running low just as demand rises; $1,950 will stock it for 9 weeks.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run the Sunday Shelf every Friday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 17 families, and now we feed 375 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 39% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 10 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Swansea market and keep every receipt.
Each $25 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $1,950 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,350
• Refrigeration and electricity: $220
• Baby formula and diapers: $380
Thanks for being kind about this.
- Samantha
