Mohammad, my father, passed away on 27 September after a road accident. He was 62 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $700 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 3 October. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Mohammad to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program. Where the $700 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $410 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $195 • Transport of the deceased: $70 • Memorial gathering for the family: $25 Thank you for reading my story.
