Help Salma keep the the Sunday Shelf pantry stocked
Help keep a free food pantry open for neighbors in need in Dhaka.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run the Sunday Shelf every Wednesday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 12 families, and now we feed 184 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 45% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 8 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Dhaka market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $350 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $45
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $260
• Baby formula and diapers: $45
