Help Saima keep the the Thursday Table pantry stocked
Saima runs a volunteer pantry feeding 360 families; this fund restocks shelves for the rainy season.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Saturday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 24 families, and now we feed 360 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 44% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 14 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Abbottabad market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $250 goes:
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $165
• Baby formula and diapers: $55
• Refrigeration and electricity: $30

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Saima
Fresh vegetables and fruit is $165 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Fair thing to want to know.
