Stuttgart
Anwar, my grandfather, passed away on 29 August after a short illness. He was 89 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,450 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 17 September. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Anwar to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program. Where the $3,450 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $2,550 • Memorial gathering for the family: $175 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $725 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure. - Saeed
