Help Sachin keep the the Harvest Pantry pantry stocked
Sachin runs a volunteer pantry feeding 223 families; this fund restocks shelves for the winter.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Tuesday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 19 families, and now we feed 223 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 30% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 16 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Mumbai market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $600 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $290
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $195
• Baby formula and diapers: $40
• Refrigeration and electricity: $75

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Sachin
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale) comes first ($290) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Thanks for looking so closely.
