Help Sabbir keep the the Harvest Pantry pantry stocked
Help keep a free food pantry open for elderly neighbors in Dhaka.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Thursday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 24 families, and now we feed 282 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 55% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 19 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Dhaka market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $150 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $40
• Baby formula and diapers: $55
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $55
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Take care. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I hope December is when things finally get easier. Take care.
More neighborhoods should do this. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Lagos.
