Help Ruma lay Shakil to rest with dignity in Dhaka
After the sudden passing of Shakil, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.

Shakil, my brother, passed away on 14 September after a sudden heart attack. He was 44 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $300 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 22 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Shakil to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.
