Help Rubina keep the Community Pantry pantry stocked
Rubina runs a volunteer pantry feeding 80 families; this fund restocks shelves for the harvest gap.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Friday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 8 families, and now we feed 80 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 36% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 16 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Dhaka market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $400 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $230
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $45
• Baby formula and diapers: $65
• Refrigeration and electricity: $60
Thanks for reading all this.
