Help Rubén start the school year with the right tools
Help Rubén begin Form 4 with a laptop, uniform and books.
Anywhere in the world183 views
Rubén earned a place in Form 4 at Mar del Plata International School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $100, which is more than they have.
Rubén loves biology and wants to become an architect. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $100 goes:
• Textbooks and workbooks: $55
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $30
• School uniform and shoes: $15
Glad we found this place.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Rubén.
Sure. The biggest one is textbooks and workbooks, $55. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks for looking so closely.
Study hard! I have a 8 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Greetings from Salvador
Hope things get better soon, Lucía. Shared it with a few friends. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Love from Lagos.
You're not alone. Hope this works out for you. I'll check back for the next update.
Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Thinking of Mar del Plata.
As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. My neighbor in Taguig donated after I showed her your page. All the best.
