Finn is my rabbit of eleven years. On 18 August we rushed to Cork Veterinary Centre with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $1,400. They have stabilized Finn, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Finn is more than a pet - Finn is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $300 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Cork Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals. Where the $1,400 goes: • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $250 • Medication and follow-up visits: $90 • Emergency surgery: $1,060 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Thanks for sharing this, Ruairi. We've got a rescue too so I know how much they mean. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Blessings.
