Help Rodrigo keep the the Second Helping pantry stocked

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Second Helping every Monday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 26 families, and now we feed 196 each week. Donations have dropped by about 48% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week. We rely on volunteers - 18 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Alcalá de Henares market and keep every receipt. Each $25 feeds a family of four for a week. All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs. Where the $750 goes: • Refrigeration and electricity: $220 • Fresh vegetables and fruit: $390 • Baby formula and diapers: $140 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Rodrigo
