Rocío is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an agriculture degree at Córdoba Polytechnic, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $2,950. The registrar has said Rocío can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Rocío has a 3.9 average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Rocío would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Rocío isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $2,950 goes: • Final term tuition: $1,650 • Outstanding tuition balance: $1,100 • Textbooks and materials: $200 Every share and every dollar helps. - Ricardo
