Help Risa save Rocky - surgery needed
A German shepherd named Rocky needs a hospital stay and surgery - a $1,450 bill the family can't cover.
🇯🇵 Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan3,250 views
Rocky is my German shepherd of two years. On 30 May we rushed to the Tokyo Emergency Vet Clinic with pyometra. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $1,450.
They have stabilized Rocky, but the treatment can't wait beyond July.
Rocky is more than a pet - Rocky got me through my hardest year. I have already put $210 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Tokyo Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $1,450 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $850
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $280
• Medication and follow-up visits: $120
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $200
Every share and every dollar helps.

Good luck. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I went through something like this 2 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Thanks for sharing this, Risa. Your post was clear and honest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Colombo.

Hang in there, Risa. Shared it with a few friends. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. God bless.
You're not alone, Risa. Shared it with a few friends. Put this on a community board in Ribeirão Preto this morning.
