Rima is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an electrical engineering diploma at Giza University, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $300. The registrar has said Rima can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Rima has a 3.6 average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Rima would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Rima isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $300 goes: • Textbooks and materials: $40 • Outstanding tuition balance: $230 • Exam and lab fees: $30 Thanks for reading all this. - Ibrahim
