Help Riccardo replace the engine head gasket and return to work
Riccardo drives for a living in Messina, and a broken engine head gasket has stopped all income for 8 weeks.

I make my living with my taxi. 8 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,600. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,600 goes:
• engine head gasket replacement (parts): $1,100
• Labor charges: $185
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $195
• Towing and inspection: $120
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Rooting for you. Hope you get there. Put this on a community board in Leipzig this morning. Blessings
Hope things get better soon, Riccardo. This could happen to any of us. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Tlaquepaque.
Hope this works out for you. Please keep us posted. Love from Peoria.
Praying for you. Hope you get there. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
