Help Ricardo through 10 rounds of treatment for early-stage lung cancer
Supporting Ricardo through early-stage lung cancer: medication, transport to San Jose University Hospital, and living costs while He cannot work.
🇺🇸 United States1,271 views
Ricardo was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in February. The oncology team at San Jose University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in May. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Ricardo is 55, worked as a primary school teacher until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to San Jose University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $11,500 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,250
• Scans and lab work: $1,850
• Transport to San Jose University Hospital: $730
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $630
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,040
With deep gratitude,
Daniel

Keep going. This could happen to any of us. My neighbor in Lecce donated after I showed her your page.
You're not alone. Wishing Ricardo a smooth procedure and a full recovery!
Hope things get better soon. Get well soon. God bless.
Good luck, Daniel. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Sent it to 39 people at work. Take care.

Sending strength. Your post was clear and honest. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Kyiv!
