Help Revathi lay Yamuna to rest with dignity in Mangaluru
After the sudden passing of Yamuna, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.

Yamuna, my mother, passed away on 6 September after a short illness. She was 24 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $650 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 25 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Yamuna to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Mangaluru hospice.
Where the $650 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $360
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $250
• Transport of the deceased: $40
Glad we found this place.

Thanks for sharing this, Revathi. This could happen to any of us. I went through something like this 9 years ago and strangers helped me out
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Put this on a community board in Toronto this morning.
Rooting for you. Shared it with a few friends. Love from Adama.
you're not alone. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Kraków.
Praying for you. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Greetings from Regensburg
