Help Regina with an overdue heating bill before summer
Help Regina cover an overdue heating bill so the household stays safe this summer.
🇺🇸 Ohio, United States1,156 views
The heating account is 2 months behind. Regina received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on July unless $500 is paid. She had never been late before losing my job in May.
Regina called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $145 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through summer without heating isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
Regina is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $500 goes:
• Electricity arrears: $220
• Reconnection and late fees: $80
• Down payment on a payment plan: $200

Wishing you the best. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. After 8 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best
rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. I'll check back for the next update. Take care.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I went through something like this 7 years ago and strangers helped me out. All the best.
Stay strong, Adrián. Shared this with my family. Blessings.
Thanks for sharing this. Hope you get there. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Love from Aberdeen.
