Help Ravi get back to civilian life: housing deposit and training
Ravi served ten years in the air force; $550 would cover a trained service dog and handler course.

I served ten years in the air force and was discharged in 2022 with hearing damage and PTSD. I have been waiting eleven months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a trained service dog and handler course. The quote I have comes to $550.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $550 goes:
• Training provider fees: $260
• Housing deposit and first month: $260
• Transport to appointments: $30
If you're reading this, thank you.

can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Bhopal.
gave what I could, wish it was more. We're a small family in Mumbai but we're thinking of you. All the best.
Good luck. Hope this works out for you. Wish I lived closer to Pasig so I could bring a meal.
Take care, Ravi. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I'm in retail myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
Sending strength, Ravi. Shared this with my family. Put this on a community board in Rio de Janeiro this morning. All the best.
So sorry you're going through this, Ravi. Your post was clear and honest. My husband and I read this together.
