Help Raúl keep the the Thursday Table pantry stocked
Help keep a free food pantry open for elderly neighbors in Bronx.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Monday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 12 families, and now we feed 276 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 58% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 8 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Bronx market and keep every receipt.
Each $40 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $3,250 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,400
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $930
• Baby formula and diapers: $550
• Refrigeration and electricity: $370
Every share and every dollar helps.

Take care. Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 20 years in logistics I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Love from Gulu.
