Help Randall restart a tailoring shop in Orlando after a break-in
A tailoring shop in Orlando needs help replacing three industrial sewing machines after a break-in.
🇺🇸 Orlando, Florida, United States495 views
For six years I have run a tailoring shop in Orlando. In February, a break-in took three industrial sewing machines. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $3,200 goes:
• Replacing three industrial sewing machines: $1,400
• Initial stock: fabric and thread: $630
• Shop repairs and licensing: $460
• Working capital for the first month: $710
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Keep going. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I hope June is when things finally get easier.
Wishing you peace. Small businesses are the heart of Orlando. Hope you're open again soon.
Hope things get better soon. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
