Help Rakib start the school year with the right tools
Rakib won a place at the Gazipur Selective School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
🇧🇩 Bangladesh911 views
Rakib earned a place in Year 10 at the Gazipur Selective School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $100, which is more than they have.
Rakib loves biology and wants to become an engineer. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $100 goes:
• Textbooks and workbooks: $25
• Laptop: $40
• School uniform and shoes: $35
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Thanks for sharing this, Sharmila. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. I'm in public service myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best.
Wishing you peace, Sharmila. I hope things turn around soon. We're a small family in Oakland but we're thinking of you
Hang in there, Sharmila. I hope things turn around soon. God bless.
Hope things get better soon, Sharmila. Shared this with my family. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too!
Keep going. Your post was clear and honest. Greetings from Xalapa.
