Help Rakib lay Tanvir to rest with dignity in Comilla
Tanvir passed away on 14 September; we're raising $550 for a respectful funeral in Comilla.

Tanvir, my grandfather, passed away on 14 September after a sudden heart attack. He was 75 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $550 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 30 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Tanvir to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Comilla hospice.
Where the $550 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $300
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $150
• Transport of the deceased: $45
• Memorial gathering for the family: $55

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings.
Praying for you, Rakib. Your post was clear and honest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
Wishing you the best, Rakib. Hope this works out for you. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings.
