Help Rakesh replace the gearbox and return to work
Rakesh drives for a living in Prayagraj, and a broken gearbox has stopped all income for 10 weeks.

I make my living with my delivery van. 10 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $255. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $255 goes:
• gearbox replacement (parts): $195
• Labor charges: $20
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $35
• Towing and inspection: $5
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Take care. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Prayagraj.
Best of luck, Rakesh. Hope you get there. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Blessings.
Thanks for sharing this, Rakesh. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Thinking of Prayagraj.
