Help Rainer start the school year with the right tools

Rainer earned a place in Grade 9 at Nuremberg Science Academy; we're $900 short on required supplies.

Nuremberg
I earned a place in Grade 9 at Nuremberg Science Academy, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the coding course, and a uniform. My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $900, which is more than we have. I love coding and want to become a software developer. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard. Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag. Where the $900 goes: • Textbooks and workbooks: $250 • Laptop: $580 • School uniform and shoes: $70 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure. - Rainer

Updates from Rainer

  1. Good news. Because of your gifts ($943 in total) the plan for laptop is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

  2. Thank you all. We're at 47% now ($420). I'm honestly stunned. the first invoice got paid this week.

  3. Quick update: $215 raised so far (24%). I made the first payment toward laptop. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
