Help Rafael through 6 rounds of treatment for stomach cancer
Rafael is facing stomach cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Rafael was diagnosed with stomach cancer in April. The oncology team at the Los Angeles Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in June. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Rafael is 28, worked as a shop owner until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Los Angeles Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,850
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $440
• Transport to the Los Angeles Oncology Institute: $1,050
