Help Rafael replace the suspension and return to work
Rafael's my pickup is Rafael's only source of income and needs a suspension replacement costing $650.

I make my living with my pickup. 6 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $650. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $650 goes:
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $290
• Labor charges: $230
• Towing and inspection: $130
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Hope things get better soon, Rafael. Your post was clear and honest. After 27 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
you're not alone. Small businesses are the heart of Tallahassee. Hope you're open again soon. God bless.
Hang in there, Rafael. Hope this works out for you. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Thinking of Tallahassee.
Stay strong. This could happen to any of us. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend!
