Rabin was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in July. The oncology team at Kathmandu Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Rabin is 37, worked as a bus conductor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Kathmandu Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,300 goes: • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $95 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,050 • Transport to Kathmandu Regional Medical Center: $70 • Scans and lab work: $85 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
