Qasim was diagnosed with severe cataracts in both eyes in April. The surgeon at Mansoura Regional Medical Center recommended laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, and He is scheduled for August. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,500, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $1,250 short.
my son has been in and out of Mansoura Regional Medical Center since April. The doctors say severe cataracts in both eyes will get worse without laparoscopic endometriosis surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Qasim struggles with daily life and can't walk without help. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
