Help Priya save Max - surgery needed
A German shepherd named Max needs orthopedic surgery - a $500 bill the family cannot cover.
🇮🇳 Ahmedabad, Gujarat, IndiaPosted Jun 18, 2026916 views
Max is my German shepherd of two years. On 1 June we rushed to Ahmedabad Animal Hospital with severe tick fever. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $500.
They have stabilized Max, but the treatment can't wait beyond July.
Max is more than a pet - Max is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $55 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Ahmedabad Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Max's recovery.
Where the $500 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $310
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $65
• Medication and follow-up visits: $45
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $80
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
Updates from Priya
Good news. Because of your gifts ($75 in total) I met with the vet clinic and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Quick update: $10 raised so far (2%). the plan for diagnostics is now scheduled. Receipts coming as soon as I have them. - Priya
