Help Priya keep the the Harvest Pantry pantry stocked
The the Harvest Pantry pantry in Mumbai is running low just as demand rises; $500 will stock it for 9 weeks.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Friday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 21 families, and now we feed 330 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 46% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 11 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Mumbai market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $500 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $240
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $185
• Baby formula and diapers: $40
• Refrigeration and electricity: $35

Thank you all. We're at 49% now ($246). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the wholesaler and confirmed the amounts.
Quick update: $142 raised so far (28%). the plan for baby formula and diapers is now scheduled. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
