Help Princess keep the Open Hands Pantry pantry stocked
The Open Hands Pantry pantry in Quezon City is running low just as demand rises; $550 will stock it for 10 weeks.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run Open Hands Pantry every Thursday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 9 families, and now we feed 284 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 56% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 13 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Quezon City market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $550 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $230
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $190
• Baby formula and diapers: $120
• Refrigeration and electricity: $10
Thank you for reading my story.
