Help Prasad keep the Community Pantry pantry stocked
Prasad runs a volunteer pantry feeding 155 families; this fund restocks shelves for the school holidays.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Sunday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 18 families, and now we feed 155 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 30% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 13 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Amritsar market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $550 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $330
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $75
• Baby formula and diapers: $90
• Refrigeration and electricity: $55
