Help Pradeep save Max - surgery needed
Max, Pradeep's German shepherd, needs urgent treatment for a broken leg after a road accident costing $1,600.

Max is my German shepherd of thirteen years. On 5 December we rushed to St. Louis Animal Hospital with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $1,600.
They have stabilized Max, but the treatment can't wait beyond February.
Max is more than a pet - Max got me through my hardest year. I have already put $280 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to St. Louis Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Max's recovery.
Where the $1,600 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $870
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $250
• Medication and follow-up visits: $280
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $200

We've got a rescue too so I know how much they mean. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.

You're not alone, Pradeep. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
