Help Pooja keep the the Sunday Shelf pantry stocked
Pooja runs a volunteer pantry feeding 133 families; this fund restocks shelves for the winter.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run the Sunday Shelf every Saturday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 11 families, and now we feed 133 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 58% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 15 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Rohini market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $400 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $140
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $195
• Refrigeration and electricity: $65
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Sending good thoughts. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Jakarta.
Praying for you, Pooja. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't give up!
Wishing you peace. More neighborhoods should do this. After 19 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care
keep going, Pooja. Hope this works out for you. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Montgomery.
Stay strong, Pooja. Looking forward to the next update. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
