Help Pieter save Poppy - surgery needed
Poppy, Pieter's senior cat, needs urgent treatment for a ruptured cruciate ligament costing $500.

Poppy is my senior cat of six years. On 25 April we rushed to Johannesburg Veterinary Centre with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $500.
They have stabilized Poppy, but the treatment can't wait beyond June.
Poppy is more than a pet - Poppy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $90 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Johannesburg Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $500 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $220
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $155
• Medication and follow-up visits: $80
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $45
