Philippe was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in August. The oncology team at Strasbourg University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Philippe is 39, worked as a bakery worker until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Strasbourg University Hospital 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $3,900 goes: • Transport to Strasbourg University Hospital: $450 • Household costs while unable to work: $1,800 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $290 • Scans and lab work: $1,360 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
