Peyton is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a teaching qualification at the Birmingham Institute of Technology, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,950. The registrar has said Peyton can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Peyton has a distinction average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Peyton would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Peyton isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $3,950 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $1,950 • Final term tuition: $1,350 • Exam and lab fees: $240 • Textbooks and materials: $410 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
