Help Petra keep the the Thursday Table pantry stocked
Help keep a free food pantry open for families facing hunger in Regensburg.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Tuesday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 27 families, and now we feed 66 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 42% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 18 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Regensburg market and keep every receipt.
Each $35 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $1,600 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $790
• Baby formula and diapers: $550
• Refrigeration and electricity: $260
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
