Help Petra keep the Community Pantry pantry stocked
The Community Pantry pantry in Wiesbaden is running low just as demand rises; $2,100 will stock it for 8 weeks.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Saturday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 29 families, and now we feed 258 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 55% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 17 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Wiesbaden market and keep every receipt.
Each $40 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $2,100 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $630
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $830
• Baby formula and diapers: $420
• Refrigeration and electricity: $220
Glad we found this place.

Keep going. More neighborhoods should do this. Sent it to 24 people at work. God bless.

Keep going. I hope things turn around soon. Love from Nairobi.
Praying for you, Petra. More neighborhoods should do this. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Greetings from Leeds.
Can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Wiesbaden
Thank you. If you're in Wiesbaden I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. It helps to be asked.
Sending love, Petra. Your post was clear and honest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
So sorry you're going through this. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Blessings
Hang in there. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. I'll check back for the next update. Blessings.
More neighborhoods should do this. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Wiesbaden
Sending good thoughts. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. Blessings
Sending good thoughts. Your post was clear and honest. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. God bless.
