Pepper is my rescue greyhound of six years. On 27 August we rushed to Zapopan Veterinary Centre with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $550. They have stabilized Pepper, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Pepper is more than a pet - Pepper is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $105 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Zapopan Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals. Where the $550 goes: • Emergency surgery: $240 • Hospitalization (3 nights): $145 • Medication and follow-up visits: $75 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $90 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Pedro
