Help Pavel replace the gearbox and return to work

Pavel drives for a living in Kyiv, and a broken gearbox has stopped all income for 10 weeks.

🇺🇦 Kyiv, Kyiv, Ukraine914 views
I make my living with my taxi. 10 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $100. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal. Where the $100 goes: • Labor charges: $30 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $50 • Towing and inspection: $20 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

best of luck. This could happen to any of us. My neighbor in Mendoza donated after I showed her your page. God bless.

          • Rooting for you, Pavel. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Kathmandu.
