Ruma passed away on 4 December; we are raising $750 for a respectful funeral in Salem.

Ruma, my sister, passed away on 4 December after a short illness. She was 49 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $750 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 24 December.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Ruma to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Salem hospice.

• Funeral home services and casket: $380
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $250
• Transport of the deceased: $30
• Memorial gathering for the family: $90
