Help Paulina replace the gearbox and return to work
Without my delivery van Paulina can't work; a $400 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my delivery van. 8 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $400. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 4 children. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $400 goes:
• gearbox replacement (parts): $200
• Labor charges: $90
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $80
• Towing and inspection: $30
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
Updates from Paulina
Good news. Because of your gifts ($94 in total) the plan for gearbox replacement is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Thank you all. We're at 16% now ($64). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the mechanic and confirmed the amounts.
