Help Patricia keep the Neighbors' Pantry pantry stocked
Patricia runs a volunteer pantry feeding 197 families; this fund restocks shelves for the rainy season.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Tuesday from the back of a community center. We started with 30 families, and now we feed 197 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 48% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 6 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Angeles market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $600 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $310
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $80
• Baby formula and diapers: $125
• Refrigeration and electricity: $85
Thanks for being kind about this.

Wishing you peace, Patricia. More neighborhoods should do this. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless.

So sorry you're going through this. Shared it with a few friends. I went through something like this 9 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Angeles!
