Aarón, my brother, passed away on 15 April after a stroke. He was 43 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,250 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 29 April.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Aarón to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Los Angeles hospice.

• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,250
• Transport of the deceased: $200
