The the Harvest Pantry pantry in Angeles is running low just as demand rises; $450 will stock it for 8 weeks.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Friday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 23 families, and now we feed 302 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 56% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 15 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Angeles market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $450 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $185
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $120
• Baby formula and diapers: $115
• Refrigeration and electricity: $30

Sending good thoughts, Orlando. Shared it with a few friends. My neighbor in Cincinnati donated after I showed her your page. Love from Cincinnati.
